WWBIC hired us to create two narrative videos capturing multiple BIPOC-owned restaurant & food/beverage vendor stories from their clients LISC Milwaukee and Brew City in the Milwaukee area for their 2021 Campaign.

WWBIC is a leading innovative statewide economic development corporation that’s been “Putting Dreams to Work” since 1987.

We open the doors of opportunity by providing underserved individuals who are interested in starting, strengthening, or expanding businesses with access to critical resources such as responsible financial products and quality business and financial training.

We focus on individuals who face barriers in accessing traditional financing or resources in pursuit of their dreams and economic well-being … in particular women, people of color, veterans, and rural and lower-wealth individuals.

Every day we work hard to achieve our social goal of improving the economic well-being of individuals by advancing inclusive entrepreneurship and facilitating self-sufficiency strategies.

BRew City Match

Brew City Match is a program that aims to revitalize historically disinvested commercial corridors by training and funding entrepreneurs committed to operating in those areas. Our partners provide a network of support that includes business plan classes, growth accelerator workshops, financial projections coaching, marketing training, permits and licensing support, loan preparation, and much more. We focus on Historic King Drive, Historic Mitchell Street, North Avenue/Fond du Lac, Riverwest/Harambee, the Near West Side, Silver City, Cesar Chavez Drive, and neighborhoods surrounding these districts.

JP Morgan Chase & Co. awarded a $3.5 million ProNeighborhoods grant to launch Brew City Match in 2019, and the State of Wisconsin invested over $4 million to sustain the program through the end of 2024.
